70th Indian Independence day celebrations

Twin Cities, August 15: Our hearts overwhelmed with exuberant joy to salute proudly tri color flag on 15th August 2016 as we mark seventieth Independence Day of our Nation.
The very word of liberation freed us from the darkness of deep slumber to rise up to honor our Mother India on the early hours of the day as beams of morning sun rays gently falling on faces with pride of Indianness all of us gathered around for the ceremony of hoisting the National flag
Fr. John released the flag high in to the sky as petals of flowers fell on us floating from the reverential flag as blessing from above from our Mother INIDA at that moment no other hymn looked greater than National Anthem. Triumphant victory from the clutches of the British rule with dangerous and powerful weapon of peace nonviolence looked as our heritage and legacy handed on to us by our freedom fighters then Heroic martyrs of the nation are remembered while saluting the flag. We also had flag hoisting at New Bhoiguda, Nampally and Hayathnagar with respect and honor to our brave soldiers who fought and got freedom to each of us.
Mr.Sathish CWC assistant coordinator spelled out valuable speech on the days theme starting with words of Indian great sage Swami Viveka Nanda “My dear youth of India Arise, awake your country needs tremendous sacrifice of your’s which only you can do”. He is very much enthused to see Salesians catering to the needs of poor youth who will be future Indian Citizens.
If at all we come together as one family without any discrimination of cast, creed, color and class that certainly because of our Nationality. Once again it proved that India is united in its diversity.
Our school going children had major role to play in days celebrations in the school. After the chief guests speech they honored the nation with thematic dances which hypnotized the crowed with the feel of awesomeness for their prodigious talents.
