A MONTH LONG SPIRITUAL JOURNY WITH MARY
Ramanthapur, July 16: It is a greatest joy for Salesians and children of Don Bosco Navajeevan Rehabilitation Centre, Ramanthapur to commence the Marian month on the feast day of Mount Carmel which falls on 16th of July every year. It has been custom in salesian houses from the time of Don Bosco to keep a month long special respect, reverence and devotion shown to our Bless Mother during this time. It is still special to all of us as we celebrate also the Indian Independence day on the same day.
At the early hours of the sun set all the staff and students gathered at palatial play ground with formal march fast accompanied by our Bosco band troop amidst the lot audience around the campus for whom it was breath taking moment.
Fr. Rayappa the administrator of the house in his message said that all the staff and students are brought to under the room of DBNJ by our Mother Mary, it is the month where one can receive abundant blessing from Her by showing utmost devotion to Mother Mary in every action that we do. He reminded everyone saying “if you want to great things to happen in your life just pray the rosary and you will see what the miracles are in your life”.
After dividing the children into four groups, namely Sahaya Matha, Gunadala Matha, Lourdu Matha and Carmel Matha. Basic instructions of each activity were explained by brothers and unanimous oath was taken to abide by the rules of the Marian tournament.
Fr. TD John declared the tournament open formally and wished everyone all the best to take part with great expectations for the wonders to take place by the help of Mary.
