Hyderabad June 21: Genpact HR team of 30 lead by Mr. Varun, HR manager visited Ramanthapur centre. GENPACT India supported this year to upgrade our Vocational training centre where we upgraded machinery in Electrician, Carpentry and Plumbing. The centre with latest machinery / equipment was officially got inaugurated by the team of GENPACT in the month of April which is running perfectly and children are getting trained in particular trades.
Later to the inauguration, HR team consists of 30 members who are also Gold members lead by Mr. Varun visited Don Bosco Rehabilitation Centre to see the updates and to spend time with children. The team have played Basket ball, some of the indoor games etc and more over interacted with children which made our children spend a good time. Interesting thing was distribution of gifts which was unexpected and children were very happy.
The GENPACT team also thanked for the good welcome and happy for the up gradation of vocational training centre. All of them have conveyed their happiness to be part of the programme and to be associated with Don Bosco Navajeevan.
On the same day, Priests and friends from Bonn, Germany visited Don Bosco Rehabilitation Centre, Ramanthapur as part of Deacon Carlo’s ordination and witnessed Running Church. The community at Ramanthapur gave a grand welcome and explained all about the activities that are carried out and all the services that are available for the benefit of children. All of them are very much impressed and thanked the management for taking such good activities and having many beneficiaries.
Children from all three centres were participated in Cultural show organized by Prerana. These organizers were doing this cultural event since four years continuously where the children of Don Bosco participated all these years. Children enjoyed full day. At the gathering, the maximum number of the speakers spoke about DBNJ and its activities. DBNJ also set up a stall to display our products and our brochures. The children explained about our activities at the stall and made the participants aware about the Don Bosco Navajeevan’s activities. The children of DBNJ won First prize and it is second time continuously. There were 110 children participated from all three centres.
Father’s Day was celebrated at all our three centres and wished Fathers. On the same day Yoga Day was also celebrated and children participated in Yoga.
