General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC) in collaboration with BoscoNet and BSK inaugurated a mobile ambulance for the medical and emergency needs of street, orphan and marginalized children residing in Don Bosco Navajeevan Homes in Hyderabad. Mr. Devesh Srivastava, the chairman cum managing director of GIC was present online along with other honourable dignitaries of GIC to witness this blessing in the presence of Fr. Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar, Provincial and Fr. Noel M., Director of BoscoNet. The chairman lauded the efforts of Don Bosco in reaching out to the most needy of the society. Taking a cue from the motto of GIC, Fr. Noel and Fr. Provincial acknowledged the reassuring initiatives of GIC creating a new hope to the needy people especially in the rural areas of India, especially during this ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. A charming and well choreographed dance performance by Navajeevan girls remained the focus of attention.
Finally, Fr. Remalla Thomas, Director of Don Bosco Navajeevan and Fr. Sarath Parri, Assistant Director of BSK thanked the teams involved for their concerted efforts in materializing the much needed medical facility for the abandoned boys and girls.
