PAST MEETING THE PRESENT FOR FUTURE

National Past Pupils Congress at DBRC, Ramanthapur.

Ramanthapur Aug. 14: National level past pupils’ congress is held at DBNJ Ramanthapur premises on 13 August 2016 hosted by St. Joseph Province of Hyderabad. As it was said by Fr.Bellamkonda Sudhakar, Director of DBNJ Homes, Hyderabad, it is historical moment in the annals of Navajeevan Ramanthapur as well as for St. Joseph province for having the fortune of organizing past pupils meet  for the first time at National level all though we do it every year at local level for our past pupils.

Under the moon light with cool breeze around ones face soothingly whispered echoes of joy, the times of togetherness to be in bond of relation with one another under the name of DON BOSCO was the focal point of celebrations atmosphere.

Eminent personalities like Fr. Ivo Coelo the councilor for formation, Fr. Noel, Secretary of SPCSA and Fr. Thanthireddy Vijay Bhakar, Provincial of St. Joseph Province of Hyderabad with their eloquent speeches mesmerized the crowd gathered. There is call of invitation in every ones speech for the past pupils to rise  up to form a national level body of past pupils consisting of all the province to support back the institutions that they were benefited from.

Success stories of the past pupils were stepping stones of motivation as well inspiration for the present. Many who were with us doing their academics holding the very prestigious positions in multinational companies some are managers for their own firms all these just because they were with DON BOSCO.

Of all other achievers stories Mr. Santhosh sharing was most touching and inspiring because he is a boy from the streets as rag pickers having non to take care but now with the family to be with, having no hand still he perceived higher education having P hD in hand, had no roof to hide himself now having his own house to stay all these drastic changes of development took place because he was taken care by Navajeevan Bala Bhavan, Vijayawada.

The rhythematic steps according the fine tunes of Navajeevan boys were cream part of the days celebrations for which crowed roared aloud with wow of admiration for their performance. The play that they staged with title ‘Pay it back’ depicted the lives of the street children and their achievements in life with the help of the Salesians.

The program was wrapped up with the felicitation of guests of the day along with the past pupils delegates of the various provinces and finally a words of appreciation and felicitation were said and done to Provincial of Hyderabad, Vice provincial the architect behind the event and Fr. Sudhakar Director of DBNJ for being over all in-charge of the day’s gathering. As tribute to DON BOSCO, was given as grand finale with Hymn to our father and founder.
