‘A grateful heart is healthier heart’ – yes it is in deep true. We are grateful to Stop Now Hunger India CEO Mr. Dola Maohapatra who took an initiative to support Don Bosco Navajeevan Homes in Hyderbad and contacted us. After meeting him personally I can say that he has passion such work and bringing smiles in thousands of lives. Food is an essential part of a human person for his survival and the initiatives that is taken by them was praise worthy. At this juncture I should not forget Mr Hasmukh Ranjan Chief Information Officer (CIO), Information Technology for Synopsys. He was there with other co-employees and in packing the meals. It was so wonderful to see the employees so happily gave their time and energy for this great noble cause. Our words would not suffice to express our sentiments of gratitude for the wonderful work they have done. Stop Hunger Now India also reaches those who are affected by famine, cyclone, war zones where people do not have work. They create concern among coorportes to support for the most needy people of our society.

Fr Bellamkonda Sudhakar, Director of Don Bosco Navajeevan homes in twin cities spoke about Don Bosco’s works in general and in particular services rendered for most deserving children of the society. He also said that there are about 86 homes solely running for the street and marginalized children. He also recalled UN statistics that, Salesian family is the only organization which meets about 1.5 million boys and girls on a single a day. He also got the attention of the employees while talking about the various services rendered for street children in twin cities from homes run by us, namely, New Bhoiguda, Nampally, Ramanthapur and Home for girls at Don Bosco Prem Seva Sadam, Haythnagar. The Director also welcomed everyone to visit one our homes and to talk to our children who stay with us throughout the year.

The meals were packed with lot of personal care. They can be preserved almost for two years. The meals that they have given us will be used three times a week and for about three months.
