Hyderabad Aug. 24: On 24th August, we Don Bosco Navajeevan were invited by Genpact, Uppal for Global CSR Meet in their premises. Fr. Bellamkonda Sudhakar, Director, Mr. Raja Reddy, Program Manager, Tech. Scholl students Fakruddin and Ajju attended the meet where Fr. Sudhakar presented the partnership of Genpact and Don Bosco Navajeevan. He thanked all the support and all the volunteers who are part of CSR. Later students Fakruddin, Baker and Ajju, Tailor also spoke about their journey in DBNJ.
As introduction, the meet happens once in six months where all the leaders across Globe meet through Video Conference to discuss and to get updated about CSR activities Globally. It’s a commitment of 16000 volunteers from Genpact across Globe and they are all trying their best to give better Impact in Employability, Teaching, Environment and Career etc. The services are reaching out to nearly 60000 people and having 25000 partners or collaborators.
We heard about the CSR work / activities from Asia Pacific countries representatives and their partners. All countries have taken different activities like, supporting Government school, Cancer treatment, Environment and Employability etc. it was nice to hear their work and how much effort that they put in.
Genpact company is to accompany and to us i.e. Don Bosco Navajeevan, they have upgraded the Non Formal Vocational skill training School where presently 80 students from different back grounds and getting trained in different courses. We also collaborate with NGOs who philosophy similar to our i.e., street involved children and Young at Risk. On this happy occasion Fr Bellamkonda Sudhakar, Director also mentioned about girls home started by us.
All these students in Tech. School were rescued from streets and provided skills to settle in life to lead better life. It is done with support from Genpact and its volunteers who make timely visits and having built up personal follow up of our Tech. School. The volunteers also spend time with our children. Now the students have latest machinery to learn and to be updated.
