Community Engagement Programme Brings Joy and Inspiration to Girls at Hayathnagar
Don Bosco Prem Seva Sadan, Hayathnagar, Hyderabad, 24 October 2024: The Providence Global Centre (PGC), under the guidance of Sr. Lucy, organized a heartwarming Community Engagement Programme at Don Bosco Prem Seva Sadan, Hayathnagar, in collaboration with Don Bosco Navajeevan. The event aimed to motivate and uplift the girls, fostering a sense of belonging and inspiring them to pursue their dreams.
The programme began at 4:15 pm with the arrival of esteemed guests, including Pavan, Melissa, Chitra, Anthony, Guy, Abhijeet, Subramanian, Sr. Lucy, and Sr. Rani. Fr. Baly Yerramaneni, the Executive Director of Don Bosco Navajeevan, warmly welcomed the gathering and expressed his gratitude for the ongoing collaboration between PGC and Don Bosco Navajeevan. Dondapati Ramesh then provided an overview of the core concept of the Girls Home and highlighted the various activities that empower and support the girls.
At 4:30 pm, the girls hosted a vibrant Welcoming Ceremony, setting the tone for the rest of the event. This was followed by a series of motivational activities at 4:45 pm, including a Quiz Programme, singing songs with dances, a creative painting session, and the decoration of the venue with colorful lamps. These activities allowed the girls to express their creativity, strengthen teamwork, and enjoy the fun-filled atmosphere.
At 5:45 pm, the day’s highlight, a Motivational Talk by Ms. Melissa, inspired the girls as the guests, along with Sr. Lucy, shared encouraging messages that motivated the girls to follow their dreams with confidence and determination. The event concluded at 6:00 pm, leaving all the participants inspired and fulfilled.
In his closing remarks, Fr. Baly Yerramaneni expressed heartfelt gratitude to Sr. Shanthi, Sr. Sushanthi, and Ms. Mounika, the dedicated caretakers of the Girls Home, for their unwavering commitment to the girls' well-being and development.
