The story of Don Bosco Navajeevan Bala Bhavan, Secunderabad, began very early after the second provincial chapter of the St. Joseph’s province of Hyderabad in 1996, brought forth deliberations to launch new ventures for the welfare of street children in the cities Hyderabad and Vishakapatnam. This good aspiration of the Salesians was further strengthened by the excellent work being done for street children in Vijayawada by the Salesians of Don Bosco.

January 02, 2023: A new tuition centre in a slum at Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Balanagar was started on this day with 40 children betweent the classes UKG to 8th. Most of the children belong to Minority community and in need of support for education. Thanks to Anusha Teacher, Mr. Pandu and Mr. Satish for identifying the children's need for a Evening Tuition Centre (ETC) in the new location. All the best to the new tuition teacher
December 31, 2022: The director of One World, Fr. Marius Kaiser visited Don Bosco Navajeevan Care Homes on this day to interact with the children. He encouraged the children to be peace loving, hard working and to work as a team. The children were excited to be in his company as he entertained them with songs, dances and lively messages.
